During this meeting we talked about the ASA scholarship. We all decided that it was a better idea to cut down on the scholarship money. We talked about the possibility of having only one or two $500 (or one $750) scholarship rather than 3. We also confirmed that it would be a good idea to award the scholarship at the end of the first semester in order to encourage and ensure that the recipients..
..continue to come and engage themselves in ASA. We also made it a point to mention that our meetings need to be punctual, starting and ending times need to be kept in mind. The scholarship committee is also going to be working on sending out the scholarship to high schools this upcoming week. Niko will be in charge of buying the paint for our "rock painting" activity which is scheduled for March 24th. We concluded this meeting by watching the video "Trashegimia Kulturore" which our president was kind enough to bring in and share with us.
