Welcome to the website for the Albanian Student Association at the University of Connecticut. We are a dedicated group of students focused on informing the world about the existence of Albania. In buoyant spirits we hope to raise awareness for our culture and customs. Throughout these pages you will find information about our association containing past and planned events, achievements and goals of the Albanian Students here at the University of Connecticut.

ASA Party

On Thursday, March 27^th, 2008, the Albanian Student Association threw another party at Empire Café in Hartford, Connecticut. We would like to thank all of the people who came and supported us in making this party another great success. As usual, this party was held as a fundraiser from which we will use the profits towards scholarships for students of Albanian descent that will be coming to the University of Connecticut in the fall. The party also provides one way for our generation to stay in touch with our Albanian customs through traditional music/dance. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you all at other ASA celebrations.

I wasn't even aware of the ASA even existing until I googled Albanian scholarships. I'm so glad that Uconn takes part in this and look forward to attending the university in the fall. If so, I'll be more than willing to help raise awareness and fundraising.

I wasn't even aware of the ASA until I googled Albanian scholarships. I was thrilled when I learned that UConn takes part in raising awareness of the Albanian culture..
