On Sunday November 11th, the Albanian Student Association participated in World Fest which was held at the Ballroom at the Student Union. We had a booth with posters which consisted of information
regarding Albanian traditions, culture and history. We also included pictures of Albania and Kosova. Some members of ASA, Arlind Mucaj, Artila Tasho, Klevian Postol, Qesar Veliu, Nick Kutrolli, Lidia Beka, Tizjana Mustafaraj, Mimoza Shehu and Kaltrina Behluli performed a traditional Albanian dance which was dedicated to the flag. This dance was choreographed by Besnik Bajrami. The performance went well and there will be pictures posted on the website soon. Overall, everyone had a great day learning about different cultures and heritages and the event and dance performance were a great success. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us at this event, especially the students who drove up from Bridgeport (Afrim, Aida, Jetmira). Special thanks go out to Besnik for his patience, and to all the dancers for their hard work and time that was put into this.
