The Albanian Student Association Scholarship Fund was established in the year 2005, when this association was just a couple of years old. Each year we offer a scholarship to one or more incoming freshmen to the University of Connecticut. The funds for the scholarships are secured through various fundraisers held by the members of ASA and also from donations from other Albanian compatriots and business owners. The merit of this scholarship is based on academic achievements, financial need and the student's involvement with the Albanian community. All high school seniors of Albanian descent that will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall are encouraged to apply.
